easy but not for me

Recently my national home theatre stopped working.

I went to the company's authorised service centre and showed the set, there it worked perfectly well.

Again it did not work at my home.  Then I took it to a local service station.  There he checked it and told me something is wrong. He opened it and checked.  He said the plug connecting the set is gone and changed it.  A small thing but it took a lot of effort to find the same.

Root to happiness.

Many people have told several ideas for happiness.

In my experience, the easiest way to happiness is very simple.

The human nature is to expect gratitude for everything we do. There are parents who say to their kids that I have done this to you that to you etc. Brothers lamenting to one another about what they have done to each other.

On the other hand when you do some good to others, or when you give something to others, immediately forget about it. Never remember it.

But when some one does even a small help to you, remember it as long as you live. Tell it to others, say thanks a thousand times. Always cherish this.

Happiness will be with you always.

Losing your temper. Beware

A friend of mine is very short tempered.

One day he urged his wife to prepare his daughter for the school. It was getting late.
She was tying her daughter's hair and the delay happened. When the school is over and the daughter is returned, the first thing my friend done was to cut the hair of his daughter who was just in fifth standard. He told his wife, there may be no delay in future. This is one example for his ill temper.

He is an engineer by profession. He services radios, televisions, calculators etc.

He made no friends, but people visit his shop as he is good at his work.

I have lost touch with him and recently I heard that he had paralysis and he could neither speak nor move. He was thin and lanky but his anger cost him his health.

I strongly feel, people who are cool, compassionate and not prone to anger maintain good health. On the other hand people who pick fights even without any reason loses their health and meet with lot of problems.

So be cool.

Do not question everything

As a head of a family or an earning member of a family you may have a strong feeling to question everything.

From breakfast time to bed time, you wish your writ to run large in everything.

But in most cases it gives only a negative impression.

Everyone knows what to do and they do better than we expect.

Unless and until you are thorough in some thing and if some one asks your advice then you can help them. Otherwise the best option is to keep smiling.

Some people always find pleasure in annoying others.

They ask all the question like whether you have switched off the geyser,or locked the gate etc.

On the other hand leave everything as it is.

Enjoy your life in the serene atmosphere.

The Great Guru

There are several gurus in our life. Some may teach us, some may guide us, some come along with us. But I feel the best guru is one who teaches what not to do. If you take this yardstick, I feel the real guru in the recent times is one Central Minister attached to Prime Minister's office who hails from Puduchery. Recently there were some protest in the Koodangulam Atomic power plant. Some people opposed it and conducted lot of meetings, strikes, agitations etc. If left as it is it, would have died a natural death. Suddenly this man emerged from Delhi one day and announced that the people against the setting of the plant are getting crores of foreign money and blabbered lot of unwanted things. The protests which was going on silently gained momentum. The protests become big, they started to picket the plant and now it has come to a position which shows that it would not end easily. Kudos to the Minister who actually helped the protestors. The same minister, this time the subject is different. This time it was the ISRO fiasco. The minister threatened that he would take strict action against the ISRO scientists if they talk against the Indian Government. The minister thought that the scientists are ordinary clerks working in his ministry who would worry if some action is taken against them. The scientists are world class and if they opt for NASA or for some foreign organisations, they would make millions. But out of sheer patriotism, they work for ISRO and build satellites. The Minister instead of appeasing them actually antagonized them. There is a tamil proverb which says Summa Kidantha Sankai Oothi Keduthan.

Want to reveal a Secret = keep mouth tight.

People always have an urge to tell something. Especially about a secret about a good friend.

They tend to reveal to a person with a strong indication not to replay the same. When the teller leaves the place, the listener's first duty to is to reveal it. That also to the person about whom the matter is told.

So if you are in the habit of revealing something, put an end to that habit. Because it is the ideal of others to earn a good name and to it they want to discredit the one who told something, especially offensive about others.

On the other hand talk about someone highly in his absence, you can be very sure, it will never reach the other person.
